I finally have some pictures of our Pennsylvania trip! These are the tip of the iceburg, but they are a good start, since this was day one of our trip. Welcome to Gettysburg. We are obviously proud of our state heritage! There are random monuments like this all over the battlefields that people have built to honor the people who fought here. This statue was sculpted by the same man who did Mount Rushmore. It was a tribute to the North Carolina soldiers, and each man is supposed to represent one of the faces of war. L to R: Steph, Susan, Ally














This was our tour guide, Larry. He drove our car and told us all about the battles for 2 hours. He was awesome!
