I was able to spend the Easter weekend with the Hart fam in NC! We had a really fun time hanging out, doing an Easter egg hunt, and of course eating....Mom surprised everyone with a bunny....the kids loved Flopsy II (Flopsy I was my bunny as a kid who "ran away" after chewing through a lot of the netting of our patio in Florida)....anyway, it was a great time! We missed Chris, but we will catch him next time.....and, we are in the process of moving into our house....I'll post some pics after the dust settles...

A Taste of the Conchords...

I just got back from Utah after a rather unexpected series of events. First of all, because of snow in Dallas and waiting for the de-icing of my plane's wings, I arrived in Provo at 3 am on Tuesday morning. But, I was able to go to see the Flight of the Conchords play at the Omniture User Conference in SLC on Wednesday, which was awesome!!! My sister-in-law Jessica and I had a wonderful time! We were at the front of the stage, and they sang all the classics....Also, I was able to spend lots of time with the Roberts clan and see Kiersta and the Galasos and their beaufitul girls! So, Chris was supposed to fly to SLC on Thursday night, and because of snow in Dallas, all flights were canceled. So, he wasn't able to come, and I spent the weekend in Utah without him! It was fun, but it would have been more fun if he was there...

Well, I finally have time to post some pics of my London trip! Unfortunately, we did not close on our home on Wednesday as planned, so we have more time to pack...The close was delayed (at least a couple of weeks) because of some legal documentation required on the part of the seller....Sore subject....Anyway, I was in London for 2 weeks on business. I was working with the finance team in our London office, and I had a great time. My mom came over from NC for 5 days, and we spent 3 full days touring the city.

We took the tube and a double decker bus tour all over the city. We went to/saw Oxford Circus, Harrods, the natural history museum, Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, the British Museum, Leceister Square, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the houses of Parliament, Piccadilly Circus, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, the London Eye, and one of the best parts of the whole trip....WICKED! I absolutely loved Wicked, and I can't stop listening to the music. We had amazing seats and had a wonderful time!

Overall, it was great to have the experience of working in/touring London and I had a great time with my Mom, but I was ready to go home after being in a hotel (with mighty small rooms) for 2 weeks. I have been home for a week - just long enough to unpack, do laundry, and head back to Utah tomorrow for a week.
