I know, I know...I have been SO bad about blogging, but I have a good reason. I was in London for two weeks on business/pleasure.....I will make an official post with lots of pics and info when I can, but because we are moving into our house over the next few days I have not been able to do it....Here is a small taste of some of the fun things I did. Here I am at Kings Cross station - platform 9 3/4...Gotta love Harry Potter!

Lots of changes in the lives of the Roberts.......a new car, a new haircut, and a NEW HOUSE!!!!! Those of you who know me well know that I stress about debt, but you gotta have a place to live and a car to drive, right?? We are VERY excited to move into our new home in a month. We are finalizing insurance/loan, etc in the next couple of days and will close at the end of February. We will be out of town most of February, so this is all going to happen very quickly. We are excited to remove some wallpaper, paint, and make the place our own. We're finally growing up! Oh, and here's some Texas tumbleweed we found next to the Kia the other day...

We had a low-key Christmas in Midland this year. We spent Christmas Eve with some friends in our ward, the Atwoods, and we had a GREAT time there! We had fun eating yummy food and playing games. This morning we opened the few presents we had and looked through our stockings. It was an electronic Christmas for us this year. We updated our computer and got an iPod. It was a nice, relaxing holiday!

We had a great trip to Utah for Chris' birthday! I went to the Omniture Holiday party (sans Chris), and I didn't get any pics of it, but I was able to go to the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square Christmas concert at the Conference Center, which was wonderful! I also got to hang out with some friends and family. I didn't get too many pics this time, but here's what I have.

We just got back from an awesome trip to NC! We had a great time going to Dollywood, eating some yummy food, and being together. We got to meet our sweet new nephew, Gavin, and ate at a wonderful dinner at a Japanese steakhouse. I also got to spend some time with some of my high school friends and took some pics of the gorgeous Autumn leaves in the Great Smokies. Enjoy!

I've been tagged by E, so here we go:

The Rules:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1. I'm very systematic (no surprise) with food. I can't eat fries and then a hamburger. I eat a proportionate amount of fries and hamburger until I have one bite of each left.

2. I like to think of myself as spontaneous, but I don't think I am spontaneous at all. I'm kind of a homebody.

3. I love ironing. It gives me a sense of accomplishment (I can see my effort come to fruition), and I think it eases stress.

4. I hate dusting. It seems like a waste.

5. I only like blogs for the pictures, generally. I don't post things other than events in my life.

6. I love my TIVO!!!!

Now I tag Kiersta, Sara, Ali, Cara, Lori, and Tish.

Happy Birthday to me! I turned 26 over the weekend and had a great week of celebration! Chris and I went out and so many nice people in the ward helped us celebrate, too. One family had us over on my birthday for my favorite foods, her kids made me this cute banner, and they wrapped up gifts around the house as presents. They had cake, candles, and sang to me, too. Thanks to everyone who thought of me!

Yay! I just got back from my monthly trip to Utah. We had some great early-birthday celebrations with Kiersta and Randalynn and the Roberts fam (pics of neices Tess, Sadie, Sydney) and got to spend some time with the gorgeous Galaso twins (Lucy and Audrey) on the day of their birth! I also included a pic of my old apartment from the window of my hotel. Weird! I had a great trip and can't wait to see everyone again in December!
