Random Pics from the Last Month

Here are some pics to catch you up on Millie's growth over the last month. (I've included smiles for those of you who requested them...)

She's losing her hair! (I don't know if you can see these well, but they are pics of her blanket with her hair on them.)

She has started sucking her thumb...good or bad?

I love this one (holding head up). There is one of me around this age, and this one looks SO much like it! I wish I had it to post...

I'm 3 months old!

Or, I was a week ago. Here are some pics on my red blankie. I was a little sleepy, so you don't get any big smiles, but I am still cute.

Roberts Visit and Baby Blessing

I realize it has taken me a long time to post these pictures...We had a great time when the Roberts and Piersons came to visit in mid-April. It was such a joy to have them in our home and to have them share in Millie's baby blessing. Unfortunately, our church starts at 9 am, so we didn't get to take many pictures before hand. Then, Millie blew out her diaper and soiled her dress shortly after the blessing, so we didn't get many pics afterward, either. It was a great day nonetheless.

Here are some pics I took a couple of days later to re-create the day.

The fun visit!

I have a funny face in this one, but I loved being held by Grandma.

I have lots of pictures to post from the last few weeks - the Roberts visit and Millie's baby blessing. But, while you wait, here are some cute pics from last Sunday.

I'm Two Months Old!

Millie is growing like a weed - a really sweet, cute weed. At her two month check up she was 12 lbs 5 oz (90th percentile) and 23.25 inches long (85th percentile). She did not like getting her vaccinations on Tuesday, but she woke up very happy the next morning. She is a sweetheart!

Easter Photo Shoot

Millie looked so cute on her first Easter! However, she slept in her carrier through all 3 hours of church, so unfortunately only a few people got to enjoy her cuteness.

Confession

After this morning's conference session, I am compelled to confess my own addiction. I am addicted to buying Millie clothes. I show considerable restraint in shopping for myself, but I can't seem to show the same restraint shopping for her. There are so many cute baby girl clothes out there (and they're so much cheaper than adult clothes). Can anyone relate?

Millie's First Vacay!

Millie told us that she wanted to go on vacation, so of course we obliged. Daddy had to go to a conference for work in Houston, so we tagged along. We stopped in San Antonio for a couple of days and then headed down to The Woodlands. San Antonio was a lot of fun; the Riverwalk was great! The weather was great, and Millie did well in the car. She got a little uncomfy during the last couple of hours of the 8-hour drive on Thursday, but she was great overall. We also got to spend some time with the Baileys, which was a lot of fun! We hadn't seen them since their move to Houston last Summer.

First Day at Church and Misc Pics of Miss Millie

Millie went to church for the first time yesterday and looked so cute! Unfortunately, Dad had to work, so Millie had to be photographed alone (and Mom is a bad photographer).

She is a lot more alert these days, too.
